Adding items to the Clipboard

Adding items to the Clipboard places references to the items on the Clipboard.

To add a folder or documents to the Clipboard from a view:

  1. In the Documents or Folders view, select the folder or documents that you want to add.
  2. In the ribbon, in the Clipboard group, click Set to replace the contents of the Clipboard with your selection or click Append to add your selection to the items already on the Clipboard.

To add a folder or a document to the Clipboard from a property page:

  1. View the folder or document property page as described in Viewing and editing folder properties orViewing and editing document properties.
  2. In the ribbon, in the Clipboard group, click Set to replace the contents of the Clipboard with the selected item or click Append to add the item to the items already on the Clipboard.
